| The Israelites never came close to taking all of the territory God had given them. God had so much for them. He had given so much to them. He had such grand plans for them. Yet they never took advantage of them. And as I read this, I can’t help but wonder, Lord, how much more do You have in mind for me, for my family, for the church? As I do, I realize I can get very comfortable on this side of the Jordan and miss out on what God wants to do through me and in me. I also realize that if I don’t deal decisively with the carnal tendencies of my heart, like the children of Israel, I’ll possess only a fraction of what the Lord has for me. Pastor Jon Courson | ||
